Custom Training Programs

As an athlete your training needs are unique so why would you settle for a generic training plan? That’s why we build and create a custom training program for you that is designed around your training background, your goals and your schedule. More than that, with each customized training program, you receive the benefit of a veteran coach who puts his years of experience to work for you. We’re here to help you succeed.

Our process:

1) Upon signup, you'll receive a questionnaire via email that will help give us insight into your training background, racing history and your schedule. This will help us find out where we’re starting and how we can best reach your goals. The questionnaire also lets us know what your schedule is like, when you’ll be available and what adjustments we may need to make for travel, etc.

2) Once the questionnaire has been completed and returned, we can begin the evaluation process. Based on your answers to the questions and our thorough examination of your previous training and racing, we will make observations and suggestions about your strengths and weaknesses as an athlete. We may need to ask a few additional questions and talk to you further to make sure that we’re on the right track. This sets the foundation of your new training program.

3) Finally, your custom training program is ready. We deliver it to you via an interactive online calendar. (See below) Based on our extensive research and years of experience from our staff, this is where we implement the training principles that will help you safely and successfully reach your goals.

The Calendar:

With our interactive calendar, you have the ability to log each workout as you complete it.  Each athlete receives his or her own account in our calendar system. The daily workouts appear on the calendar for the length of your training program. With this calendar, you log in basic details such as distance completed, time, and comments about your workouts. It is up to each athlete to complete his or her individual training. Once training is complete, we will do an evaluation of the program, look at what has been completed, and make suggestions for further growth.

At the end of your training cycle (which could run anywhere from 8-20 weeks) we will conference with you by phone and figure out how best to move ahead to achieve your next goals.

 Keep in mind this program does not allow for regular coach-athlete interaction.   If you are looking for more regular involvement from me as your coach, you should consider personal online coaching or my consulting services.

We can do this via phone or in person, whatever works best for you. 

Consultation rate ½ : $45, 1 hour = $75
